Obituary of Thomas H Johnson

Thomas H. Johnson was born May 26, 1957 at Boston City Hospital to Margaret Harvin and James E. Johnson of South Carolina. Tommy resided in the City of Cambridge at the time of his death. Thomas departed from this earth on August 15, 2018. Tommy attended the Boston Public School system, right around the time of his graduation; Tommy joined the United States Army. He worked with his father (departed) and Uncle Elex Johnson (departed) on home improvement projects around the Boston area. He would help with odds jobs, for families around Boston.

One of 12 children born to Margaret and Jimmy, he was the 8th child. Thomas leaves behind 3 sisters; Cynthia A. Johnson of Hyde Park, MA, Frances Hargrove of Baltimore, Maryland, and Edna Perkins of Detroit, Michigan. 5 brothers; Lesley Johnson of Norwood, MA; David Johnson of Randolph, MA, Wayne and David Jordan; John Arthur Johnson of Baltimore, Maryland; Stepmother Ruthy Johnson; brother-in-law’s; Oswald Hankerson of Roslindale, MA, John Perkins of Detroit, Michigan.

Several nieces and nephews; nieces; Leah Berryhill, of Roslindale, Sonya Murphy of Quincy, Elena Hankerson-Durkee of Vermont; nephews; Robert Murphy of Roslindale, Eric Michelle of West Bridgewater; Stephen Michelle of Avon, Andre Hankerson of Roslindale; a host of grand-nieces and nephews; and a multitude of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins from around the United States.

Tommy will be surely missed. May our Lord thy God keep him I his hands; as he journey’s to the house of the Lord in peace, serenity and the comfort of his holy ghost.
