I taught art at the West Los Angeles VA. Ernie was one of my favorite vets. Always smiling and laughing, telling stories, charming and appreciative of my time spent with him.

My condolences on the passing of Cousin Ernie and your father, grand-father and friend. I only learned recently of the death of the oldest son of Cousin Pearl, who was my grand-mother's favorite cousin and traveling companion. My grand-mother was Lillian Frances (Bowling) Browne and my dad was Ralph F. Browne, Jr. I recall hearing Cousin Ernie's name and have faint memories of his face from possibly Salem Willows, the Wright family reunion or other occasions or years earlier when I was only a child and he was visiting with my father.
