What an honor to have studied and worshipped with Bill throughout our high school years......I send my love to his family as they smile from the fact that the world is a much better place due to his having shared his values and caring. Bill sent me his book that he and his neighbors wrote. I consider that a very special outreach and will treasure his special gift encased in his thoughtfulness and generosity. I send my sympathies to his family, especially to his twin brother, our high school class president.

To Cynthia and the entire Loesch Family,
So sorry that I will not be there as I live in another state and I just buried my father but I’m there in spirit.
Rev. Loesch was a true hero in my book and a close friend to my family since the 70s. He was a great mentor and a great man to speak about with his kindness and a joke of the day.
In the 70s, it was always a pleasure to see Rev Loesch walking the street of Columbia Point project - you felt safe when you see him, “everything is going to be alright” attitude you would have.
I left Boston in the last 70s but I continue to try to keep stay in touch with Rev. Loesch but my mother will beat me to it as he often ask about me but my mother will always tell him that I'm doing just fine.
Rev. Loesch, thank you for being that unique person to all and especially to my family - that is what we love about you – you being different, pleasant and a cool kind of guy. May you rest in peace - you deserve it.

To William Family, I am truly sorry for your loss. I know you have many wonderful memories of your time with William . When you reflect on the memories you shared they will bring a smile to your heart. I know this is a difficult time, but the Bible gives us a wonderful future hope , Revelation 21:4 says death will be no more. The Bible promises we will live in a world free of death. This is an awesome future promise made by Almighty God to obedient mankind. May you have peace

Dear Loesch family,
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Rev. Dr. William (Bill) Loesch. Reverend Bill Loesch counseled us before our marriage and officiated our marriage at the 2nd Church of Dorchester in Codman Square. His wealth of wisdom has always been one of reasons we have been together these 41 years. We were truly blessed to have known this wonderful man. Please know that our thoughts & prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

To all the family of my dear friend Dr. Rev. William Russell Loesch. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Rev. Loesch was a special part of my life. He always gave updates on your family in letters and that is something that I truly miss. He did so much for all the youth in Columbia Point. If he hadn't had a previous engagement, he would have presided over my wedding. But he did preside over my daughter's Ramona's wedding.and he baptized my grand-nephew, Zechariah. He helped all of the families in the Point and always had that infectious smile. Whenever I saw him, he always greeted me with a hug and kiss. I will always love him. God picked three of the flowers of my life this month, and Dr. Reverend William (Bill) Russell Loesch is one of them. Blessings to all of you. Love you.
