Obituary of Clarise May Paul
Clarise May Paul was born on April 13,1937 to late parents Marta Darkins Williams and Authur Forbes Daly. She born in Port Limon, Costa Rica and was known to everyone as a loving and caring little girl. Known for her ease in conversation with even total strangers, some may be surprised to learn of the extreme shyness in her youth. Yet even as a child, she possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and strong demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and unconditional love will never be forgotten.
Clarise was married to Claude Paul for 45 years. They moved from New York to Boston where she fell in love with Boston. She later completed her CNA certification. As a CNA, she cared for patients and provided comfort care for those in need. This was a perfect job for her because naturally she left an impact on everyone she came across and spread love everywhere she went. She worked as a CNA for 29 years and received recognition with a plaque for her hard work and integrity through the years. After retirement, her work carried on by loving, caring, uplifting, and sharing her wisdom of life experiences to the betterment of everyone she came across.
Clarise was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and loved to have her grandchildren around her all the time. Clarise loved get-togethers and loved to dance. She cooked enormous meals that could feed everyone that stop by.
Clarise was “mom” to everyone, her family and people in her neighborhood. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love for her family defines why Clarise was the foundation of her family. Also, she adored her husband, Claude tremendously. She was a beautiful soul inside and out. She would do anything to help someone else in need even if that meant giving up her last. She instilled values into her children and grandchildren at a young age about independence, respect, honesty, and gratitude.
Clarise was known to be honest and if you asked her opinion about something she would tell you the truth with love. No matter the time of the day, she was always available for advice and a listening ear. She was known by everyone by her feisty, yet good sense of humor. She will be missed by all that known and loved her. She was well known by the phrase, “Don’t cry for me”, she always wanted everyone to be happy and enjoy their life to the fullest. She will always live in our hearts forever.
