Obituary of Boris David Napier

Boris David Napier, unexpectedly passed on February 20, 2019. He was born on December 23, 1968 to Gloria and Bozie Napier at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, MA.

In Boris’s younger years he was educated in the Boston Public School System and graduated from Charlestown High School, where he received his high school diploma. He also attended Hesser College in New Hampshire for Engineering. He also worked at Whittier Street Health Center as a Community Outreach Worker.

Boris was charismatic, charming, funny and full of life, with an infectious smile. Boris was very loyal and generous and the type of person to give of himself. Boris was a lover of music. One of  His favorite musical groups of all time, was The R&B sensational group New Edition. Boris also had an intense passion for basketball. 

Boris leaves to cherish his memory: His parents, Gloria and Clarence Gibson (mother/stepfather), Bozie and Daphne Napier (Father/Stepmother), his sister Bahiya Napier, his only nephew Chance Napier. His children, Shanise DeSilva, Shyrell Johnson, Tyshawn Woodley, Cachè Wright, Shabazz Napier, and Cheyenne Napier. Boris also leaves to cherish his grandchildren, Jakiyah Woodley, Janiyah Woodley, Peyton Woodley, Zori Jones, Kyleigh DeSilva, and Mateo DeSilva. Boris also leaves a host of Aunts and Uncles, as well as a large number of extended family members and friends, including his close friend Victoria Ortiz.
