Very early in my process, Ron ask me how you doing, I replied I'm trying. He looked at me after acknowledging me for a few months and said, you are not trying you are doing it. Taught me to be sure of myself, and gave me the confidence to continue my efforts. Almost 19 years later, I still honor the lesson to be more sure footed in my words and actions. Yes Ron, I am doing it!

To the family and friends of Ronald Hill,
I am very sorry for your loss.
Ronald’s life experiences and contributions are many and reveal the great sense of pride he had in all he did.
Despite the stresses he may have gone through in his many accomplishments he was able to live a long life full of the love and support of all who knew him. The sad thing about this is that it came to an end.
I would like to share a hope that has kept me at peace since my dad passed. Learning that the God of the Bible promises relief from the pain of death and a fix for those who have already succumbed,
keeps my heart and mind open and renewed to what will come.
May you find comfort in the Bible’s hope that one day we will see our lost loved ones again. Jesus showed how this promise is sure when he resurrected Lazarus. John 11:1-44.
Such bible truths provide us with hope and comfort as we look forward to the day when death will no longer be and those who have already succumbed to this enemy will be awakened on a Paradisiac Earth, to a life free of sickness, pain, sorrow and the worries of ever dying again.
This being the Creator’s original purpose, it will indeed be fulfilled.
Knowing this makes me wonder what wonderful new things Ronald will be able to achieve in the near future.
Genesis 2:7, 8, 15; Isaiah 55:10, 11; Revelation 21:3, 4; John 6:40; and
1 Corinthians 15:25, 26
Like me you can learn more about these wonderful bible promises at jw.org.

We would like to extend a heartfelt prayer to all the members of Hill/Benton/Small Family, during this most difficult and transitional time. We light this candle to pay tribute to a life ‘passed and a legacy revealed.
Keeping a light burning is our form of remembrance; signifying that his memory still lives on and burns bright. We pray that this memorial candle: celebrates the life of your loved one, brings peace and comfort to your family and loved ones, and eases some of the pain of your loss. We hope that your support system will be revealed; as you read the words of those who post their LOVE, send their cards & flowers or even their embrace while they pay their respect.
Being now like family, we hope you will see our genuine hearts and will understand that we are here; to listen & keep things confidential, to provide guidance & direct you to the appropriate resources to maneuver through the storm.

On behalf of the family,
We appreciate all the love and support we received from everyone over the past few days, and we know that Ron will be missed by so many people in the community. There were so many non-profit organizations that Ron dedicated his time to, and we as a family would like to have the ability to continue supporting these efforts in his honor. To do so, we’re setting a foundation in his name to continue to raise funding for organizations such as prostate awareness; union workers within the community, and the many community based organizations that he gave back to.
This GoFundMe page is a way for others to contribute to the foundation for Ronald Hill, and we’ll look to keep everyone updated as we go through this process,
