Veronica was someone I think, God sent to help me through soooo many tough times while living in Boston. She had so much on her plate but loved to talk about God. She always posed the question, " how can I use my situation to look like Jesus Christ, and how can I use my situation to help others come to Christ?" I loved our long chats. I am grateful to have known her .....until we meet again my wonderful sister.
Love

This breaks my heart. Veronica was a good friend. I loved our long chats. She was my sister from another mister, and I was her brother from another mother. She loved her Jesus, and sought every opportunity to direct our conversations toward God. We last spoke a few weeks before she passed, and while I am not religious she made a point to pray for me. I always admired her outspokenness, zeal for her faith, and kind heart. I enjoyed her friendship tremendously and will miss her greatly.

Veronica has been a close friend “sister in the Lord” since 1999 when we met at BSF. We loved chatting with each other about our families and about God. If she couldn’t sleep she would call me to chat. Many times it was very late Boston time. We prayed together and always stood by each other. Oh how she loved her grands. She made the decision to move to Boston and help with her grandchild because I had already left OK to go to California to watch my grand baby full time. We enjoyed every moment together. I’ll never forget her. I remember wheeling her all over BSF retreat. I got to take her to lunch for her 50th. I know I’ll spend eternity with her. She was a most precious friend/sister to me.
I’ll see you soon Veronica.

Ronnie was my “study buddy” all through law school. I spent many hours with her at her kitchen table as we prepared course outlines, studied for finals, and quizzed each other. We roomed together in Oklahoma City when we took the bar exam, just a few months after Christina was born. She was a devoted mother, an intelligent and zealous lawyer, a wonderful friend, and a beautiful person. I love you, Ronnie.

To the entire family of Ronnie we would like to extend our deepest condolences. I can remember Ronnie as a young lady and I didn't know what happened to her after we graduated but it is a very nice obituary that you all did. Ronnie was always a sweet girl with a beautiful spirit. We know you all as her family do know the Lord and don't have to be reminded to put all your care and trust in Him.

We would like to extend a heartfelt prayer to all the members of Powell/Surrell/Dawson Family, during this most difficult and transitional time. We light this candle to pay tribute to a life ‘passed and a legacy revealed.
Keeping a light burning is our form of remembrance; signifying that her memory still lives on and burns bright. We pray that this memorial candle: celebrates the life of your loved one, brings peace and comfort to your family and loved ones, and eases some of the pain of your loss. We hope that your support system will be revealed; as you read the words of those who post their LOVE, send their cards & flowers or even their embrace while they pay their respect.
Being now like family, we hope you will see our genuine hearts and will understand that we are here; to listen & keep things confidential, to provide guidance & direct you to the appropriate resources to maneuver through the storm.
