Eric and I were in the same law school class together. We had some good times in, as well as, outside of class. We, along with mutual friends, attended a few parties and night clubs, just having fun. Eric was intelligent, articulate, well spoken and always the Gentleman. Fond memories of him will live on. My deepest and sincere condolences to his Family.

I will always remember him smiling. Then Captain Hill was our HHD Commander to go to Iraq. He was the model of fitness (I often joked he looked like Mr. USA Tony Atlas). Everybody from the 719th MCB family upon hearing this is heartbroken and upset as he was always available. He was firm and fair. He lead from the front.
