Willie Jerome Johnson was born on August 22, 1956 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Robert Johnson and Arlene Johnson. Jerome was the oldest of four children. He departed this life on Saturday, December 28, 2019. Anyone who met Jerome also known as “Daddy-O” and “Gus” was drawn to him by his warm heart and cheerful smile. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Jerome was always willing to help wherever he was needed. He enjoyed music, sports, and family. Jerome was preceded in death by his wife, Florine Daniels. He is survived by and leaves to cherish in his memory his mother, Arlene Johnson; sisters, Robin Matthews, Sandra Doctor (Eddie-husband), and Crystal Britton; son, Rhoshone Anderson, daughter, Shawntaye Beato (Luis-husband), stepson James Daniels (Dawnielle-wife), stepdaughters Gaylinda Daniels and Bertha Daniels-Hall (Jeffrey-husband); 11 grandchildren, an uncle, along with a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special friend, Charlene C. Shelton.
