Dear Amos Family
I am very sorry for the loss of your Mom.
Like your Mom, my Mom Joan Wilson Neu, passed away recently. Both of our Mom’s were on the Ayer High 1948 basketball team that played in the Garden. Your Mom on the court scoring points. My Mom as the score keeper tracking points.
All the best to you and your family at this time. I enjoyed the chance to learn more about her from your beautiful tribute. Thank you for sharing her with us,

I was Blessed to have met a God fearing woman like Mother Amos. She will always be an inspiration of God's love for his children. A prayer warrior that would take her time to teach you God's Grace & Mercy. I remember one Easter Sunday, I said to Mother Amos, " Happy Easter". Mother Amos replied, " Happy Resurrection Day". Since then my Happy Easter turned into Happy Resurrection Day. I love Mother Amos quotes. One of my favorites,"I meant what I said and said what I meant". Thank you Lord for allowing me to have been taught by one of your Angels. Mother Amos you will always be loved & missed. Blue Hill Missionary Baptist Church will never be the same without you.My condolences to Mother Mae Ella Amos's family. RIP God's good & faithful servant.
