How strange it is to be writing condolences due you not being here with us anymore. As I look at the clock ticking away, it will have been around this time 2 weeks ago when tragedy happened that Sunday night. Oh how we wished we could rewind and for this to be erased, but we don't have those powers and only the Lord knows the journey we're traveling. Some of the funniest memories of David included how he moved from the top floor to the bottom floor apartment, just checking out appetizers in each apartment. We'd all laughed at it together, as that was just David. When we were out eating his favorites were chicken teriyaki and tacos. He had a healthy love for food. The children and I had some lovely memories of him engaging, chilling and hanging out with us watching movies at my sister's place including our favorite Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (a martial arts movie). David had a beautiful infectious smile and laughter, a deep and genuine love and appreciation of life. To Erin and the children, aunt Joan and David's brothers and sisters, my condolences again on your loss. It is unbearable I know because were all broken but I hope time will help to ease the pain and the memories you shared will bring sweet comfort to your hearts. Without any answers to our questions, all I can say is "Rest In Eternal Peace" cuz, until we meet again. Sharon & family xxx

It is with a very heavy Heart that I bid farewell to my cousin David.
I can remember taking David to work and even to my evening classes at UTECH with me while he was visiting me in Kingston before migrating to the USA. He was always pleasant and will be missed. I have never seen David sad or angry, all I remember is him giving you a big smile whenever you are around him.

I first met my little cousin David on a family trip to Jamaica in the 90s, he was so funny, a bit chubbier then but his heart shone through. He had the most infectious smile. Even though we live in different countries I have fond memories of him, the last being in Boston at Aunty Jenny’s BBQ, laughing with the family and sincere chats. He’d grown into a family man and was positive about life, he seemed wiser than his years. Always easy to talk to, he spoke about visiting the U.K. again and said we must visit Boston more often, family matters. He was so right. An angel gone too soon. Rest in peace dear cousin.

I will always have fond memories of the times I shared with David. I thank Erin for introducing me. He always commanded respect and offered his positivity and trust. I still can’t believe this is real, you were definitely one of a kind. We have so many memories it’s too many to share but one of my favorites is when I first had your baby cousin Ja’Niya Robinson she use to give us so much trouble to take a nap and at the time we all lived together u me your cousin jj and your beloved Erin. And you would come and take Ja’Niya and sing to her until she would fall asleep. You never missed a beat when it came to her and I truly appreciate it. I’m gonna miss you. Our sincerest condolences to Joan and family.
David was a very sweet and respectful young man. He also had a loving and gentle spirit. He always had a smile on his face showing his pearly white teeth. The last time we saw him was at Sis. Kelly's funeral a few months ago. I was messing with him and saying how slim and trim he was. While he was there smiling we hugged and I told him how nice he looked and that he should keep it up and he said yes. He was one of our favorite young people because of who he was, Patrick and I loved him very much. I couldn't held back the tears when I heard the news, I was praying it wasn't true. When Joan confirmed it I cried in disbelief. Our hearts are very sad as a family, wonderful David is gone too soon!
May God comfort the mother of his children, his children and the rest of the family. May God wrap his loving arms around each of you and may you feel his presence in a literal way.
Our love and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. We will always love and miss David very much, his beautiful smile and hugs.

Though its been years since I've actually seen David, I remember him to be well-mannered, very intelligent, humorous, and very friendly. David's family and my family were neighbors when they moved to Boston. His sister, Dierdre, is still one of my great friends and I was saddened to hear the news. I remember when I first met my little cousin...he was running behind his father on Jamaica saying "daddy daddy". He was a chubby little boy and when he came to live in Boston our first outing was to the ice skating rink. He moved around the rink with a skating device to help him stay up. However he fell many many times. I watched him grow up into his own man, finding love, becoming a father and sharing his wise wisdom with my own son. He wanted my son to be a better kid, show respect and had many many talks with him. I last saw him in March at a family event and I texted him on his birthday. I was in total shock when I got the news. David no matter what you will be missed by me and my children and I promise that I will make sure your memory lives on. Rest easy and I'll see you soon.
