I had the pleasure of meeting Alonzo a little over a year ago. He was a smart man, of great faith, with a great sense of humor and was very grateful for the life he had and all those who helped him along the way. He shared many stories of the ups and downs in his life journey and contributed much to our community. He had many friends who will miss him greatly. He was recently very grateful for blessings of some new family connections and a new opportunity in his life which brought him a sense of peace, pride and joy. I was very saddened to hear of his passing and grateful for the opportunity to meet him. Praying for his family in this difficult time of loss.
