Thank you for treating me as a son and your knowledge over the years. It was an honor to be your student.

Don't know if anyone will still look here but I'd still like to say that when I was a brand new teacher at Southie High, Carole went out of her way to make me feel welcome. She checked in on me regularly and was my friend. A beautiful soul, I will not forget her.

Hello Mike, I didn’t realize the book was still open until I received an email alert. Thank you for your kind words regarding my mother…she was a special woman! I remember her time at Southie very well. I often accompanied her to “the school on the hill”. Thank you again

Professor Labonte was a light to our Saturday writing morning class. She saw me. And understood me. She made writing fun. May she rest in eternal peace.

To be absent from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord. RIP Soror Carole

So sad to hear this news. I met Soror Carole my senior year at SBHS. She headed the yearbook committee with her own money and gave the class of 87 a beautiful yearbook. I became a Delta because of Soror Carole. In fact , she wrote my letter of recommendation for Delta Sigma Theta. I will truly miss my Soror . Her infectious smile and compassion will live on forever. RIP Soror RIP

Wow, I was only 12 at the time, but I remember my mom talking about the yearbook and how her students deserved one! Her time at Southie was impactful to not only her students but for her as well; she spoke fondly of her time at southie. It was rough for her but extremely rewarding. Thank you for the trip down memory lane. She continues to be missed each and every day.

We would like to extend a heartfelt prayer to all the members of the Labonte and Joseph Families, during this most difficult and transitional time. We light this candle to pay tribute to a life ‘passed and a legacy revealed.
Keeping a light burning is our form of remembrance; signifying that her memory still lives on and burns bright. We pray that this memorial candle: celebrates the life of your loved one, brings peace and comfort to your family and loved ones, and eases some of the pain of your loss. We hope that your support system will be revealed; as you read the words of those who post their LOVE, send their cards & flowers or even their embrace while they pay their respect.
Being now like family, we hope you will see our genuine hearts and will understand that we are here; to listen & keep things confidential, to provide guidance & direct you to the appropriate resources to maneuver through the storm.

Thank you so very much for keeping the book open. I didn’t know these were here until I received an email alert today when someone posted a message. I needed these as it comes close to three years of mommy being in the presence of the Lord. I miss her so very much but I know that I know she is in the heavenly realms with Jesus. Thank you again, you’ll never know how much this means to me.
