Obituary of Terrence Clarke

Please share a memory of Terrence to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Terrence Adrian Clarke was born on September 6th, 2001 to Osmine Clarke and Adrian Briggs at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. Sadly, we’re gathered here today to honor his earthly life, which he tragically departed from far too soon. As the result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on April 22, 2021, Terrence transitioned, at the age of 19. For as long as we can remember Terrence has loved the game of Basketball! Many believe that his journey began at Young Achievers, but his family will tell you that he’s been clutching a basketball ever since he could walk. As a kid, he idolized Rajon Rondo, who played for the Celtics. Terrence even went so far as to wear a green head and wristband, as he walked around the house daily, with the ball tucked under his left arm. His passion was supported, and his talents developed as he attended Roxbury Prep, Smith Davis Leadership Academy, the Rivers School, and Brewster Academy. Over the years he cultivated a network of NBA Players, Coach’s & Mentors who began to pour into him and his Dream of one day becoming a Boston Celtic himself. His GOD-given talents coupled with his vast network put him on the NBA fast track. Terrence chose to enhance said talents by joining the University of Kentucky Team before being cleared and announcing his decision to enter the NBA draft on March 19th, 2021. One day before his untimely demise, Terrence signed with Klutch Sports where he fell, just shy of achieving his life’s destiny. Terrence's love for basketball was extraordinary! He was dedicated to becoming one of the greatest basketball players of all time. As a Boston native, his dream was to be a beacon of light for the youth in his hometown and his mission was to help uplift others by giving back to his community. Terrence was a humble, giving, loving, and personable child. He had a beautiful, bright, infectious, and contagious smile that lit up every room he entered. He would speak to everyone he encountered but he especially loved his family and was extremely excited whenever his family was around. Affectionately & forever known to those who Loved him most as Terry, T &/or T Clarke, and Little T. Left to cherish his memory: His parents Osmine Clarke and Adrian Briggs.
