Life is a gift. God promised threescore years and ten (70).
Some get less while others get more.
Your mom was blessed with the wonderful gift of 97 years, a milestone only few will attain.
I pray that when you get sad, may the memories of her smile bring you laughter; when you miss her, may the memories of her love fill your emptiness; when you are discouraged, may the memories of her hard work, sacrifices, struggles, endurance and determination bring you strength.
If you ever feel hopeless, may the memories of her faith bring you hope.
As you mourn the loss of your loved one, may you allow the Holy Spirit to be your comforter.

Dear family knowing Mamma and her family I cannot help but wonder should I cry or celebrate. Mamma went home to a Greater family whom she serve while she was teaching us to live as she did so we may join her when it is time. My sadden heart sing a joyful song Rest In Peace

Sis Knight, from the first time I met her, I could tell, she was truly a child of God. I had the distinction of serving her communion and even visiting her outside of communion time and it was always a pleasure to spend time with her.
