Frank Worrell was born in Trinidad and Tobago on October 2, 1945. Frank now joins his parents and brother, the late Arthur Worrell of Barbados, Agnes Worrell of Saint Kitts, and brother Wilfred Phillips of Saint Kitts. Frank received his education from Mucurapo Boys School in Trinidad and Osmond High School in Trinidad. In 1978, Frank migrated from Trinidad to United States, where he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Frank then began his employment at the Quincy Shipyard, he drove taxi and his final employment was at Salvation Army, where he served, assisted and retired as a counselor for homeless families in 2008. In 1987, Frank met his queen Pamela, who later in 1995 became his wife. Their union united with 5 children; Learie, Dana (Twanda), Tristan (Rochelle), Freida and DeeDee (David). Frank had a charming and welcoming personality where everyone enjoyed being in his presence. Frank was known for his slick tongue and sarcastic comments. He would say things like “Ya understand”, “Stick break in ya ear” “Shut ya beak” “Ya damn buzzard” and “Imma blister ur tail”. Frank had a special love for cooking. He was a master and known for his famous corn meal dumplings soup, roast beef and pelau. He loved to sink, groove and tune the steelpan; where he earned his name as the “BOSTON HAMMER”. Frank also had a love for birds and building bird cages. Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, brother and uncle. He was always loving and compassionate towards his family.
