Obituary of Andrea Stallings

Andrea Stallings 67, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. She was born in Boston Massachusetts on July 19, 1954, to Pearline Edmonds Johnson and the late Andrew Stallings. As the oldest of nine children to Pearline and Andrew, Andrea took her role as the eldest sibling seriously. She proudly assisted her mother with caring for her younger brothers and sisters, and often times took on the responsibilities of cooking, cleaning and helping with other household duties. Andrea attended Roxbury Memorial High School and is a proud member of the class of 1972. After graduating from high school, Andrea pursued post-secondary education and received a certification in Home Health Care. Andrea loved her work and provided her patients with excellent care. She took great pride in being an aid to the elderly population. Andrea was fun-loving and enjoyed having a good time. She appreciated listening to soulful music and dancing. She could also be found in the kitchen cooking up a delicious meal for her family and friends. Andrea had a big heart and a high-spirited personality. Andrea enjoyed gathering with family and friends for holidays and special occasions. She loved her family with all her heart and particularly had a special bond with her loving mother, who cared for Andrea no matter what and always welcomed her with open arms. Andrea was a proud mother of four children; George, Jamal, Andrea and Stephen. She also took much joy in the honor of being a grandmother to Craig, Jaiden, Dejah, Crystal, Antonia, Stephen Jr, Shanyiah, Savannah, Alana, Anthony, Tylaneice, Kyneiq, Qwazawni and Denzel. Andrea is survived by her mother Pearline, sisters Francine, Barbara, Tangela, Valasia and Moneek; and brothers Charles and his wife Sheila, Bernard and his wife Samaria, Daimon and Andrew. She is also survived by her sons George, Jamal and his fiancé Kei, Stephen and his wife Holly, and her daughter Andrea, as well as her nieces and nephews: Keta, Paul, Charles, Danielle, Deshia, Kyanna, Reggie, Joshua, Justin, and Skye. Her father, Andrew Stallings, her stepfather, James Johnson, and her brothers Paul, Frederick, James, Moses and her brother-in-law Wayne predeceased her. Additionally, a host of extended family and friends will feel her loss. Forever, Andrea’s beautiful smile and face full of radiant freckles will be missed.
