Dear James,
My move to Indianapolis was rough. I hated it until we worked together as Neuroscience Medical Liaisons and my life lit up. Hanging out with you and Sharron, oh the laughs and joy we shared. And the interesting situations we found ourselves in. You always lit up the room, James, wherever we traveled. I can still hear that infectious laugh. You always made people feel better.
I’m sorry we lost touch. I love you James and will always love you, until we meet again.

James and I met in 2001 at the prompting of our mutual friend Rene Sterling- she knew we would hit it off and we did…in a big way. Whether we were raving in Brooklyn warehouses with Austrian friends or pounding the dance floor across the Lower East Side; BBQing at his place in Harlem or later in my suburban yard; kickin’ it in Mexico or in California, there was nothing but love and laughter. Some of the most memorable and fun times were in his company and his spirit will always be with me. In peace and power my friend. Love, dina

James,
I am still in disbelief of your passing. You were such a beautiful soul and the smartest man I know. You lived a life of legacy and accomplishment. Your heart was so big and you were loved by many. I remember the last time I saw you. We drove from Vegas to the Grand Canyon with Dina Perry and we laughed the whole way reminiscing about high school and I was clowning you on how much you drove me crazy. We laughed so hard and we promised we would hang out again. Well, I am glad I was able to share that special time with you. You will never be forgotten. Rest in heavenly peace my friend. Sending my prayers and love to your family.

James, my dear friend & REACH brother, words cannot express how you touched so many lives. I will remember your intelligence, beautiful spirit, sense of humor, infectious smile and laugh.
You also had such a passion for travel. I remember our last road trip driving from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. Nancy and I had a blast reminiscing with you about our high school/college days. We laughed for hours. You brought pure joy to everyone you engaged with.
James, I am deeply saddened by your sudden passing. I am praying for your family during this challenging time.

James was a magnificent man and is a spirit that will live in us forever. His joy, laughter, intellect, and courage are an inspiration for us all. He took the gift of this life on a journey filled with adventure and accomplishment. I will miss him tremendously. May he rest in love and peace.
