Obituary of Evangelist Deborah Ann Killings

Deborah Ann Killings was born September 24, 1951 in Laurel, Mississippi to the late Annie Mae Killings, who later wed Henry G Jordan and raised a blended family. Deborah attended the Nora Davis Elementary School until October 1966 where the family relocated to Boston Massachusetts.
She attended the Timothy Middle School in Dorchester where she met Samuel Bailey of Boston MA. In 1967 Deborah graduated from the Jeremiah E. Burke High School thereafter in 1968 giving birth to her only daughter Ramona D Killings.
Deborah was employed at Trans Com Transportation as a school bus driver. She had a loving family who supported her and cared for her daughter while she attended La Alianza Hispana of Roxbury to become a Nursing Assistant. When she received her Nursing Assistant Certification she become employed by Mass General Hospital as a Nursing Assistant.
Deborah loved playing softball her nickname was Pam, she played a mean game whenever she hit the ball it was always Game Over. She loved singing, cooking and baking. She could make a delicious banana pudding, macaroni and cheese, collard greens and corn bread.
She loved praising the Lord, the first church she joined in Boston was Refuge Temple Revival Center. Deborah was a God-fearing woman who loved the Lord. One thing for sure Grandma Deb as she was affectionately known by, she made sure everyone went to church including the kids in the neighborhood. Deborah committed most of her time in church, she was in a play called (Women In Need of Change).
Deborah loved her family very much especially her baby brother Tony, her grandchildren ,nieces and nephews called her Grandma Deb. If you knew Grandma Deb like we did then you know she was the Matriarch of the family.
Predeceased in death is her Mother and Father Henry and Annie Mae Jordan, Uncle Henry Ford Killings, Aunt Mary Lee Killings and Grandparents Hugh Dillard and Annie Mason Deborah was a devoted, loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She leaves to mourn her daughter Ramona Killings, siblings James Williams, Cheryl Matthews, Henry Jordan (Beverly), Carolyn Jordan Hudson (Robert) all of Boston. Three Grandchildren Shante Killings, Khadijah Killings, De’Aundria Killings. One Great Grandson Namari Griffin Killings. Host of uncles, aunts’, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
