I live across the street from the Allen family. I remember meeting CJ when he was about 6 years old, and he was throwing a football on our little dead-end street. Being much older than CJ, I did not spend very much time with him, but I would see him playing basketball with his friends, or trick-or-treating at Halloween. He must have been very happy when he got his own truck, and everyone was very proud when he got into college. CJ was strong, built like a football player, and instantly likable, and he carried a generous smile and a sense of positivity; the same positive energy and kindness of spirit that I see in his whole family. His passing really hurts me- because he was so young. One thing though to remember is that his kindness and warmth still remains in the world. It is very real, and in that sense, he is still with us, like a guide or compass.- Armand Inezian, (Boston)
