Obituary of Charles Bridges

Charles Bridges was born on April 23 1958 to the late Johnnie Mae Bridges. On February 20 ,2021 Charles transitioned to eternal life to be with his lord and savior Jesus Christ. Charles also known as "Charlie","Chuck", "Bump", "Grandpa " and Uncle Charles. Raised in J.P. Bromley Heath. Was well known and loved by everyone he came in contact with. He was so full of life. Had a laugh that was so contagious, that when he started laughing everyone around him had no choice but to laugh. Always upbeat, laughing and joking. His favorite quote was "Papa was a rolling stone" and " Quit playing huh" and when ever he needed help he called on "curt curt curt curt " and one of our all time favorites "get door" and of course he always had to have his "lic lic He loved music, especially old school 70's music. James brown "payback" was his song. He also had a love for western movies. Most of all he had a love for family. He loved his children and grandchildren so much. They were his pride and joy He was also precede in death by his grandfather Clarence Bridges, grandmother Johnnie bell bridges,Two brothers William C Bridges and Ernest Bridges . Four uncles and one aunt. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories his two daughters Latoya Wilson and Cassandra Bridges. His three grandchildren Danaejah, D'avieon and Cassius. His son in law Leeroy. One brother Gregory Bridges, his two sisters Brenda Bridges and Maria Bridges. Four aunts, Four uncles along with a host of nieces , nephews and other family members and friends.
