To my dearest sister, words cannot explain how much I’m going to miss you. Cartesia You were very unique and one of a kind; you always smiled no matter what or how you felt inside, and you always loved your family. I’m going to miss us sharing the same age for another 21 days. We grew up in the same room as little girls; we would pretend to be asleep when dad would come home from church. We giggled and had each other's back no matter what. I’m going to miss that beautiful voice that would sing as the pearly gates opened. I will cherish every good memory we shared. No more pain, Cartesia! Rest in paradise, my angel.

To our beautiful mama, this is the biggest heartbreak we’ve ever had and we’re so sad to say goodbye. Q: What will you miss most about Cartesia?
A: I will miss my sister smile. We were not as close as we once were, but when we spoke she always told me she loved me. Lastly, I will miss her joy of eating. When she lived with me.. one time she was so excited about the meal she was about to consume… she was singing and dancing and smiling..

When I think about my sister Cartesia and the memories we shared it’s a lot that pass through my mind. But the last one that keeps popping up is about six years ago ain’t my dad and mom appreciation the whole family was called up to sing. Cartersia didn’t really want to get up there and sing together, but when she did she stole the show. Just singing so beautifully it brought tears to my eyes, she always did that with her singing. Her energy was always unmatched, and she would always give life with her personality. I will miss you sis but i will remember the good times and celebrate your life love you forever!!!
